OFFICE CLOSURE INFORMATION

Thank you for allowing me and our team at MedCannabisConsultants to care for you. After 5 years of certifying patients for medical marijuana in New York State, I have decided to retire from medicine. I will be closing my medical marijuana practice as of December 31, 2021. During the month of October 2021, we will be available for any medical emergencies that arise in our current patients. It is my understanding that any certification you have with the New York State Medical Marijuana program will remain valid until the expiration date. Your expiration date(s) are located on your NYS certification above the provider’s signature.
ALL FUTURE APPOINTMENTS HAVE BEEN CANCELLED
There are currently over 3300 certifying practitioners in NYS. We do not recommend one over another.
Mary LaRussa, NP, will NOT be continuing in the Medical Marijuana field.
If you require a referral, contact your primary care physician.
For a list of New York State Medical Marijuana Program providers, please contact the NYS Medical Marijuana Program at 1-844-863-9312 or online at: https://www.health.ny.gov/regulations/medical_marijuana/practitioner/public_list.htm
There are also online certifying doctors, such as www.nuggmd.com or www.prestodoctor.com
As of December 1, 2021, we will use a service to retain your medical records for 6 years per NYS requirements. If you would like your records sent to another medical marijuana provider, please contact: Datafied, 1-800-765-7510 or www.datafied.com
It has been a great pleasure meeting and caring for all my patients. I sincerely appreciate you trusting your care to us. I wish you good health and all the best in the coming years.
Thank you again and best wishes.
